Chef Joseph Badaro was born and raised in the family kitchen. One of his fondest memories as a child was helping his mother prep garbanzo beans for their hummus. Joseph continued to help her out in the kitchen and quickly mastered cooking. He furthered this culinary education in Lebanon, where he spent most summers with family growing up. There he and his cousins ate their way through family kitchens, restaurants, and shawarma bars scattered all over Beirut. Learning new authentic recipes, flavors, and cooking techniques native to his family’s culture with every trip. Hummus Labs is a collection of Chef Joseph Badaro’s favorite Lebanese dishes, and represents everything Joseph has learned over the years from his mother, family, and Lebanese roots.
