Chef Joseph Badaro was born and raised in the family kitchen. One of his fondest memories growing up was helping his mother prep garbanzo beans for their hummus. Chef quickly mastered cooking and began dabbling with the Lebanese cuisine his mother served his family daily. He furthered this culinary education as he spent most of his summers with family in Beirut, Lebanon. There he and his cousins ate their way through family kitchens, restaurants, and shawarma bars scattered all over Beirut. Learning new authentic recipes and cooking techniques native to his family’s culture with every trip. Hummus Labs is a collection of Chef Joseph Badaro’s favorite Lebanese dishes, and is the culmination of everything he has learned over the years from his mother, family, and his Lebanese roots.
